💡Project Story
This pattern was born during a yarn‑stash organizing session. A partial skein of Bernat Velvet Plus seemed perfect for a dust cloth — until the washing instructions revealed it needed hand‑washing. Not ideal for cleaning. But the fabric felt too good to abandon: plush, velvety, and soothing. After knitting until the yarn ran out, the finished piece became a delightful sensory square — perfect for fidgeting, calming touch, or simply enjoying its softness.

Uses
A calming sensory tool
A soft cat mat
